Problem: Learning infrastructure and security concepts without structured evidence makes progress hard to verify.

Built: A documented learning lab with checkpoint READMEs, Docker Compose setups, GitHub Actions workflows, CodeQL, Trivy scanning, Prometheus/Grafana notes, and shell automation scripts.

My Contributions

  • Structured checkpoint documentation for Git, Linux, Docker, CI/CD, security scanning, and observability topics with objectives and validation steps.
  • Built Docker Compose setups for multi-container local development and service connectivity testing.
  • Created GitHub Actions workflows for automated build, test, Docker image publishing, CodeQL analysis, and Trivy image scanning.
  • Wrote shell scripts for environment checks, deployment prep, and log cleanup with dry-run support.

Capstone Engineering Experience

Capstone projects where I practiced backend integration, deployment, and technical advising across academic team systems.

During one semester, I supported multiple academic capstone teams while building my own SmartFlood system. My work focused on backend data integration, deployment, database connections, and technical guidance — turning project requirements into working web platforms.

SmartFlood is my main capstone project, evolving through multiple generations from early flood-monitoring prototypes into an integrated full-stack system and later cloud-engineering experiments.

My contributions

  • Built and iterated four platform versions from proposal MVP to final presentation.
